APLEND Vila Credo

Aplend Via Credo is situated in Tatra National Park in Dolný Smokovec, approx. 3 km from the center of Stary Smokovec. Accomodation is situated in quiet and peacefull part of village and it is suitable for families with children and people who like peace and tranquillity. It offers lots of various activities in the area.

Aplend Via Credo is situated in Tatra National Park in Dolný Smokovec, approx. 3 km from the center of Stary Smokovec. Accomodation is situated in quiet and peacefull part of village and it is suitable for families with children and people who like peace and tranquillity. It offers lots of various activities in the area. There is electric railway (300m) connecting all hiking and skiing centres of High Tatras (Štrbské pleso, Starý Smokovec, Tatranská Lomnica). During summer season, Vila Credo is ideal for mountain tours, trips to Poprad, Kežmarok, Belianska Cave or thermal baths (Aquapark Poprad, thermal bath Vrbov).
There is ski storage and lounge (conference room) on the ground floor available for special cases of group reservation and 2 double rooms. The first floor has 1 bedroom apartment (2+2) and 2 double rooms. On second floor there is one bedroom loft apartment (2+2) and 2 double attic rooms (2+2) with the possibility of using attic loft in addition to 2 extra beds. Lounge can be used as a small conference room for 16 up to 18 persons. Behind the object you can find garden seats with barbecue, fireplace, sandpit, trampoline and rope swing and attractions for children. The building is suitable for family celebrations, workshops, small business presentations and training.

Boarding

There is no standard breakfast service directly at Vila Credo (upon individual agreement in case of ordering of the entire building). Breakfast can be ordered in Aplend Mountain Resort komplex, 2.5 km from Aplend Vila Credo). Self – catering is possible in each apartment (fully equipped kitchenette with cooking utensils). The nearest restaurant is at a distance of about 250 m from the house.

Parking places are directly at Aplend Vila Credo. Parking is free.

Sport and fun

 
In the surroundings there are several starting points for hiking trails, tennis courts, golf, mini-golf, ski lifts, skating rink, cinema, pool, thermal pools, restaurants.

Tourism:  certainly the most popular activity in this area. The starting point of hiking trails can be reached on foot, or go by the Tatra electric railway which stop is about 300 m. The whole area is full of Tatras hiking trails. At an altitude of 6500 Feet (ft.) you can find huts in which it is possible to sleep in case of long and demanding tour. Nearby is the amount of light trails, more complex routes, but also a lot of climbing opportunities. For nature lovers there are wonderful valleys, lakes and tarns.
 
Climbing:  The area is well known for climbers from near and far for its excellent climbing opportunities. In the mountain´s huts you can find hand-plotted maps and explanations of various types of climbing.

Cyclotourism: There are plenty of cycling routes, both natural and challenging for experienced cyclists or conventional asphalt roads between towns and villages of the High Tatras.
 
Skiing:   Only 60 m from Aplend Vila Credo is Greguska ski resort suitable for children and beginners and at a distance of 6 km, Ski Resort Tatranska Lomnica which is the largest ski resort in High Tatras. In this resort you cableway will take you up to 2200 m. n m. where you will find their challenging slopes and moderate skiers. Around 8 km there is also a number of lifts for beginners with easy terrain and ski schools. Directly in the High Tatras and surroundings there are also several other ski resorts.

Tennis: The recently opened sports hall (approximately 6 km away) offers the opportunity to play tennis at any time throughout the year. In summer you can use the outdoor tennis courts.  
 
Golf: 27-hole golf course is situated approximately 8km from Dolny Smokovec in an interesting alpine environment / www.golftatry.sk/. /www.golftatry.sk/.

Thermal baths: Water park AquaCity / www.aquacityresort.com/ is at a distance of 9 km within of 20 km is the thermal spa in Vrbov / www.termalnekupalisko.com/. /www.termalnekupalisko.com/.
